Do we even know when we are being experimented upon?
Are you being experimented upon right now? Am I? If yes to either, who is the experimenter and the experimentee? How can we tell if we are being experimented upon?
It seems like these days we are always being experimented upon. Sometimes it is more obvious than others. Sometimes the experimenters try to conceal the fact that they are experimenting upon us.
Does it even matter if we are being experimented upon? Maybe sometimes more than others? Does that depend on who is running the experimenting and what their aims are for the society they are experimenting upon?
What if the experimenters are only running the experiment to see how much money they can make? Or how much power the can accrue? Should we object to those types of experiments? How would we even object?
What if the experimenter is just curious to see what happens by enacting the experiment? There may be a lot of ways that could go. Do some experimenters want to increase chaos to see what happens? Do some want to try to control others to see what happens?
What if the experimenter wants to see if other people think similarly and want to work together?
What if the experimenter wants to change the power structures?
